25 years ago Michael started working with “Sir” Geoffery Tyers at Careening Cove, a Master Painter and member of the English Painters Guild. Over their many years of working together, Michael and Geoffery developed not only a professional relationship but also a close personal friendship which to this day remains with not only Michael but with Catriona and their two daughters.

Now in his 80’s Sir Geoffery has “officially” retired, although he still finds the time to visit Michael and the team. Giving in-depth tutorials to the new generation of Shipwrights, apprentices and painters on-site, passing on his valuable and rare knowledge.
